Torah MiTzion runs a worldwide network of Batei Midrash, and are active in Jewish communities across the globe, including Toronto, New York, Memphis, Mexico City, Cape Town and Sydney. Their dynamic young shlichim are all graduates of military or national service, and are passionate about Torah, Judaism and Zionism. Our community has several graduates of the program, including Rav Chanan Atlas.
A group of soon-to-be shlichim will be joining us for שבת שלך לך (June 20-21, 2025) before they begin their shlichut abroad. Most of the Israeli shlichim have no personal connection to Diaspora Jewry. As such, they benefit significantly from spending a Shabbat with Olim as part of their training. During their Shabbat in Ra'anana, they will be giving shiurim, teaching classes, running youth programs, and engaging with members of our community, in order to learn more about Jewish life abroad.
We are looking for host families for both sleeping and Friday night dinner. Please help us make this Shabbat a special experience for both BKOA and Torah MiTzion.
